Sugar!

Does anyone know a safe amount of sugar to eat a day? I eat only natural sugars in foods (fruits, etc) and I feel like I'm very careful everyday. The default number they put on your diary just seems low. Anyone have any tips or a number to shoot for?

all i know is my dietician told me to not worry about sugars from fuits, and to keep added/refined sugars to 35g/day or less.0

A friend of mine swears that there is no nutritional value in sugar and that we should remove as much of it as possible from our diet. Of course, I am talking about refined sugars. Natural sugars found in fruit is totally ok. I have never been able to eliminate sugar totally, but at least I have been able to limit it.0

I set mine for 25 g., but I follow South Beach which is very low in sugar. I'm one of the few on here that believes in limiting fruit.0
