I always try to keep zero calorie food (food that uses more calories to digest than they contain) and low calorie foods in the house for snacks or to add to meals and try not to buy junk food. When you buy something check out the label, serving size, calories, sodium, sugar. Mostly just pay attention to what your buying.

    Zucchini
    Turnips
    Spinach
    Radish
    Onion
    Lettuce
    Green beans
    Garlic
    Garden cress
    Endive
    Cucumber
    Hot chili peppers
    Dandelion
    Celery
    Cauliflower
    Cucumber
    Carrot
    Green cabbage
    Broccoli
    Beets
    Asparagus

    Watermelon
    Tomato
    Tangerines
    Strawberries
    Raspberries
    Pineapple
    Papaya
    Peaches
    Oranges
    Mango
    Honey dew melons
    Grape fruit
    Cranberry
    Cantaloupe
    Blueberry
    Apples

Depends on what you like but I would suggest plenty of fruits & veggies that you can snack on. Below are some of the items I purchase each week week -

    Strawberries
    Apples
    Bananas
    Clementines
    Baby Carrots
    Nonfat Greek Yogurt
    Instant Oatmeal
Yellow Corn Tortillas (these are great for making your own chips in the oven)
Eggs (a lot of them too!)
    Turkey slices
Weight Watchers Strawberry & Chocolate Ice Cream Bars (these are awesome for dessert and only 80 cals each)
Whole Wheat Wraps (great substitute for bread)

    Hope this helps.
