Hi,

I have joined the web site today and am really looking forward to getting started and hopefully seeing some results!! The site seems really good!!

I have done my food diary today, and some exercise to earn extra calories, however.... am I supposed to eat all the calories available? I.e. if I do exercise and earn say 300 cals, are you supposed to eat the extra??

I know that probably seems like a daft question, however it doesnt take much to get me confused!! Ha ha!!

    It confused me at first too... but yes, you eat those extras. Someone else can probably explain it better, but thought I'd give you a quick answer hehe :wink:

  • Yes do. The calorie intake for the day is lower that it should be. Mine is 1200 calories a day, it has a deficit of 500 calories so even if I dont exercise I should loose weight because its set a 500 less anyway.
    There was a thread that explained it really well, i'll try and find it.

    Brill, thanks guys, I will have a read of the link.

    Have just posted my food diary, and it said if I continue like today I can loose nearly a stone in 5 weeks!! How good is that!! The site seems very motivational, which is exactly what I need!!

    Ok "My fellow Americans", I'll jump in here. A "Stone" is 14 pounds.

    That's almost 3 pounds a week, which is pretty aggressive. Good luck, keep posting! :tongue:

    Ha ha, sorry, I forgot we talk LB's on here!!! I know its aggressive, and doubt I will achieve that, but it certainly motivated me to stick at it tomorrow!!
