I haven't been logging for the last few weeks because it's just too embarrassing. We're talking microwave breakfast sandwiches (sodium!), snickers and coke from the vending machine for lunch (sugar!), french fries for dinner (fat!). Zero exercise. I have no excuses, and I feel completely gross.

Stepped on the scale for the first time in ages tonight, not even wanting to look, and I had lost 5 pounds??? Not just any 5 pounds, either - those last 5 pounds I had been trying to lose for a reeaaallly long time. What the....

I am in no way saying that this is a good strategy for weight loss - obviously it's not. The number on the scale means nothing when I'm feeling like a blob and clearly not being healthy. But I'm really curious as to what happened. Can you lose muscle mass in just a few weeks?

Yes, you can lose muscle mass in two weeks. Likely not five pounds worth if you weren't bedridden. If you are staying under maintenance you will still lose-even if you are eating junk food. You will feel like crap because you're eating crap, as you already know :) it's hard to log my 'bad' days but I know I need that data to make informed choices later y'know?
