Okay so so far I've lost close to 16kgs, but my waist, hips and thighs have gotten bigger progressively. Is this normal??

have you measured your chest/just under your chest? i know i lost most of my first cm's from there. maybe take a photo and compare? are you measuring yourself or someone else doing it for you? you may not be measuring in the exact same spots each time.

like for me, i have gone from a 20 (aus) to a 10-12 in shirts/dresses but am still a 16 in pants.

I've dropped 2 cup sizes! But I doubt ALL that 15kgs was in my Boobs. I have taken photos and I do look larger. So frustrated!!

It depends on where you are losing it from. I've lost my fat in particular areas in a orbital order, starting from my feet/face/hands, calves, shoulders and chest, lower thighs, arms/forearms, upper thighs/waist and booty will probably be last at this rate. My guess is such, you may be gaining some muscle...

I also wonder if your measurements aren't consistent? I screwed up in the beginning and took my measurements at the wrong places so it was hard to accurately track my progress. One day through research I found I'd been measuring my waist at the wrong place and I'd actually lost 10 inches!

If the pics are the same distance away in the same lighting and the same angle. ALSO... my waist and lovehandles looked WAY WORSE when I lost weight everywhere else first. It really is an optical illusion because the outside extremities shrunk and my middle looked WAY bigger. Cheer up and give it more time!
