adding a supplement to your exercise and diet routine?

So I've always loved working out. But ever since the new year I have really taken charge with my eating habits and working out on a more regular basis. However I always feel so tired after my long 12 hour day between school and work that I don't get to workout for more then 20-30 mins, around 3 days during the week and then I normally do long 2 hour workouts on the weekend to make up for it. While I have noticed a little bit of toning in my legs and arms, I have barely lost any weight! I have genetically slow metabolism and when I remember (it needs to be more often) I take a super- B complex. But I was just wonder if anyone out there takes any form of supplement to help burn fat or just give them more energy to workout more, in combination with their diet and exercise routine, and has actually seen improvement over just healthy eating and exercise alone?
