Hey guys!

My name's Shakola, I'm 18, and I'm a freshman in college. I'm not really concerned about losing weight, per say, I'm really just trying to lose my stomach fat. I'm 5'8 and I weigh 145 lbs. Any tips on what foods I should be eating?

There is no way to spot reduce I'm afraid. I did hear CLA pills help somewhat, but they have not helped me... Just set yourself a realistic caloric limit and stick to it for a bit! :)

Where you lose fat from is genetic, there is no magic food or exercise, you just have to reduce your overall body fat.
  • One of my problem areas and no there isn't any way to spot reduce. I have found eating really clean, i.e. cutting out alcohol (sugars) or limiting to a treat and eating little or no processed foods has made a difference. Limiting carbs to vegetables, natural oats (breakfast) and if I have bread or starchy veg it's low GI, only on weight training days and not at night. I believe cutting out alcohol and white bread products has been the key for me anyway.

  • Thanks guys,...
and taso, I reposted this because I noticed that my last post was in an intro board instead of this one and I didn't feel that it applied there. After I posted this one, my intentions were to delete the other post, but I didn't see a delete button.
