I made this before too- I took Angel cake, chocolate cake and chocolate chip put them in a big zip lock bag and mixed it up. With the chips it makes it into a molten cake. YUM !

This is really weird, because I don't even like Nutella, but that cake looks delicious!

    Stupid?

How do you figure the calories per serving ?

Take the calories in each serving before cooked and multiply that by number by how many servings it says it has in it. Do the same for both boxes and add them together.

Then look at how many cups there are total (it'll say on the boxes) then divide the number of calories by the number of cups.

Take that number and then divide that by 16, since there are 16 tablespoons in a cup. This will give you how many calories are in a level tablespoon. Since you're using three tablespoons, just multiply that by three.

    :)

    Edit* Here's an example.

Say your cake mixes are 150 and 200 calories per serving, before baked.

One has 14 servings and one has 16.

    150 x 14 = 2,100
    200 x 16 = 3,200

    Total = 5,300

Say together they have 6 cups.

    5,300 / 6 = 883.33... So let's call that 884. (I round up on calories)

    884 / 16 = 55.25 calories per tablespoon

    55.25 x 3 = 165.75 per serving.

I LOVE this for something quick when I'm craving cake. The calories differ depending on what type of cake mix you use and if you put anything on top of it or not.

Take 1 box of Angel Food cake and 1 box of whatever other flavor cake mix you want (I chose double chocolate) and mix them together in a big Tupperware container.

    Take 3 TBSP cake mix
    2 TBSP water

Mix in a coffee mug until saturated and microwave for 1 minute. (3-2-1!!!) I forget where this recipe came from. Somewhere online.

    BAM! You have cake.

The mix I used is 168 calories for one cake. This time I added 1 TBSP Nutella because it was a reward for hitting my first goal. I also added 2 TBSP fat free whipped cream. It was 288 calories for everything pictured.
This looks good, and I like the idea of only making a single serving at a time. Thanks!
