WTG htmo4 on your weight loss.

I was listening to Jillian on her radio broadcast lastnight and got excited about my journey even more and got some tips. I love listening to her. If you have never heard the radio broadcast I will post the link. This last week she gave advice on how to bust fat with sprints like what she does on the BL so I think I'm going to try that. I'm still going to keep the jogging up and would love to sign up for a 5k however, I don't want to do anything this summer I'm so affraid that if its too warm and I'm running my seizures will spike. Ugh.

I did about 35min of abs and Chest & Back yesterday and feel a bit sore, but happy. I have Plyo tonight, but am not sure when I'm going to fit it in. I have to drive 1.5hrs away tonight for the dress rehearsal, for the show I'm in tomorrow. I love performing, but the week beforehand I feel utterly disgusted with myself and in no way feel like being on stage in front of people. Ugh.

    Anyway, trying to stay positive.

And I just realize I forgot ALL ABOUT INTROPLAY!!! I feel sooo horrible. I'm on 3 different leagues and haven't done ANYTHING. Best get to it! :embarassed:

I am continuing to log the food. I worked out yesterday and have not worked exercise in today. I know the day is not over yet.

I had another increase in my stress level today. I am happy to report that I have made good eating choices in situations where I would normally choose comfort foods. Please pray that I am able to stay on track during this tough time. My family would also appreciate your prayers. My grandfather is about to return home from the hospital on hospice services and my grandmother is unable to care for him. We have several family members and friends that are planning to take turns caring for both of them during this transition.

Best wishes to Rach tonight. I am sure she will have a fabulous performance.

Thank you j_g and hmo4 for the support!

I finally tried "jogging" this morning. I wore my HRM and jogged long enough to get my heart rate up and then I would walk a little way and start jogging again when the HRM was beeping at me.
    I burned about 400 calories.

alright everyone I tried this sprint stuff. I have had no problems with my ashtma at all for a long time and OMG I couldn't breath. When Jillian was talking about it she wanted you to go up to 90 seconds and then pyrmid down and well I only got up to 1 min. and that was hard. I did go back down again and I burned a little less than 400 calories. Im just going to job tomorrow but willing to give it another try in two days again. What the heck. Unless I'm fainting, puking or dying dont stop. LOL

    Happy Monday morning blues! :drinker:

j_g, thanks for the Jillian link!!

I am slowly getting back in the game - my eating has been much better now that I am doing my own grocery shopping and I get to plan & cook (healthy!) meals. Today I am going to research gym memberships in the area....let's hope I find something!!

Keep up the good work everyone! :flowerforyou:

Hey Rach!! We want to hear all about your performance!!

Shar, welcome back!! I hope that you can find a membership that you can enjoy!! Take one day at a time & you'll get there!

J_G, keep going, you're doing great!!

MrWatson, awesome job on the jogging! Sounds like a great way to build up your endurance!

I had a great step class today! I only burned 385 with all the weight work & starting & stopping, but at least it's done!! It's so cold & rainy here today though & I just want to go back to bed & get under the covers!

I'm going to an Ani Difranco concert this weekend & I'm really looking forward to it! I haven't seen her perform since before my girls came along so it'll be cool to see a live performance again! I love road trips!!

    Have a great day BLUES!!

I gotta listen to the Jillian feed - I've been trying to work on jogging further let alone sprinting.... I get a major cramp in my side when i do it.

Did fine over weekend - walked 45m friday and 4 m on saturday...rest day sunday back to it today. Looking to join new gym that's closer to home but seems like the registration fees are outrageous! We'll see what happens....

I only got up to a min and the pyrmided on the way down. It went good but OMG I didn't think sprinting was that hard. WOW. I would walk after just because jogging UGH i just got done sprinting LOL. Jillian says however to do a light jog. I will try it again tomorrow. Im just going to jog today. I think im getting a headcold so we will see if i can atleast get a mile in.

Oh yea, the show went great! Though afterwards I got very angry and upset with myself, when watching the video of it. I guess it's just that much more emphasis on why I need to get healthy. Anyway I'm logging and doing well today. I want to do Plyo when I get home, then make some whole wheat pasta and veggies for dinner, and get to work on homework.

    Hello beautiful blues. :flowerforyou:

I haven't had much time to get on here (busy at work), but I'm glad to see we're all keepin at it!!

I was really sick last week. I had a fever for half a day, then I got sick to my stomach. I have a hiatal hernia, so the stomach ache really irritated it and I haven't really been able to eat anything for the past five days. I haven't worked out either. :indifferent: But, I'm going to workout today. I lost two pounds at my WW weigh-in on Saturday (which I almost didn't go to), so I'm at an even 250 now... can't wait for the 240s!

Type more later... gotta run!! (Listening to Jillian, btw, thanks for the link!!!!! :drinker:)

Good morning everyone. Today is my weigh in for my husband and I bet. Ugh stressfull. I know he is going to win because he just started to loose weight so he has lost a lot. But he told me that we can do another challenge. It keeps both of us on track that is for sure. I did it for his first 8 weeks because I wanted him to get healthy and he did to however would fall down and just not really care but this realy got him hooked and he has a hard time with missing a day. If I don't feel motivated he makes me motiveated and I do the same for him. He is doing wonderful I think he said he has lost about 13lbs thus far. We took before and after pictures and you can really see it.
