I can't figure out how to post pics, but I have 5 cats, Ninja, my silly little black girl, who is nearly 2, but snuggles like a kitten, Samurai, who balances Ninja perfectly, puffy black boy with the sweetest face, Jason, my oldest, grey tabby, huge lover boy, and the 2 new ones, Chewie and Luke, feral kittens I am working on slowly. Chewie is a pretty little long haired tortie, loves the brush and heavy handed pets, Luke is a grey tabby, both 6-toed, sweet hearts.
Then, there is Echo, chow/ret mix, 8 years old, plays like a puppy, she's my running partner, and Krissi, my old lady, 10 yr old Husky, smartest brat, has me trained perfectly!!!
Nothing like coming home to furry baby love! No matter how bad the day has been, they always put a smile on my face!!!

My Furbabie Kitties! The big one is Twilight (hah - we got her in 2008 - but we call her Twila) and the little one is Wednesday (We got her on a Wednesday :-D she's 6 months old now)

They are so funny!

Both of them were adopted from local families - that had kittens available - I wanted Calico and I found them!

Aw, I LOVE that most of these pets are rescues!!

Our Miss Eva is a rescue too. She is some sort of mix... just can't decide what, lol. She's got attributes from Border Collie, German Shepherd and Black Lab. Heck, she's just a mutt , but we absolutely love her!

I love my three big rescue "girls." They get me moving every morning for a walk, despite the temperature. When it hits forty below, we have to cut the walk short, but I will still have gotten the blood moving and be ready to be more active the rest of the day.
When I can figure out how to post photos, I will.

You know, I was reading that book as a teen. Late one night, I got up to get a glass of water, felt a squish under my foot. Looked down - disembowelled rat by moonlight. Obviously, in the cold light of day, one of the cats had dunnit. However, that time of night, things were rather less rational...

That book still freaks me out. I remember seeing an interview with Stephen King, in which he said he scared himself so much writing it that he had to put it to one side for a couple of years...

I have 3 dogs and 2 cats. Love them to death. They are all shelter animals too

Brier is a 4 1/2 year old Lab/German Shepherd mix. He loves to pack stuffed animals around. He brings you one in the morning and when you get home to say hi. Dont tell, but Brier is my fav, best dog EVER! Best full body tail wag I have ever seen!

Alibi is a 4 1/2 year old cattle dog mix. She copies Brier and packs stuffies around too. Alibi loves to play ball and Brier loves to run beside her. Alibi has also copied Brier's full body tail wag.

Piper is a 7 month old black lab mix. She loves to carry socks around the house and play the blocker while playing ball. She is attempting the full body wag too.

The dogs are very happy go lucky. I am quite lucky to have such good dogs.

Dewey and Simone are my indoor cats, about 4 1/2 years old too. Simone will play with the dogs, hang out for a bit, then take off to one of her many hiding spots. Dewey on the other hand is quite social, except with the dogs. He thinks the world revolves around him and spends his time trying to achieve that status. The dogs know that Dewey is not to be played with, or even looked at sometimes :laugh:

Dont know what I would do without my fur babies. They make me laugh everyday.

These are all of my four legged babies (also have 2 daughters). Oliver, Lilly, Chloe, Midnight, Snow, Hope, Oreo, Pierre, and Chico were either strays or given to me because their owners did not want them. Sadie, Fawna, Smokey, Buttercup, Jessie, and Halo were all adopted from Shelters.
