Does anyone use Wii games as their form of exercise? I moved in August to the middle of nowhere and lost access to a gym. I have just been running as my form of exercise but it's not my favorite and it's harder for me to talk myself into it. I'm still loosing and have a more active job than I did before so that eases my guilt a bit...

I have a Wii and have considered getting a game for it but I wanted to get an opinion how many people use Wii to exercise and what a good game to get would be...at the moment I can only afford one, if I choose to go that route...

I have a 360 & workout everyday using the Kinect. It's like having a personal trainer... LOVE it! I have worked out with some wii fitness games as well, but you have to buy the balance board. Personally, I'm not a fan of holding the controller, but I believe they have straps for them now so you don't have to actually hold it ( one reason I prefer the kinect). Either platform is an excellent motivator. The fitbit & the Kinect were the best investments I've made in a long time. Cheers to our health!! :drinker:

I do! I have Wii Fit Plus which came with the balance board. It has a nice mix of games, yoga and even strength workouts. A friend of mine has more intense work out games like one put out by the NFL.
