Metabolism boosters?

Recently, I discovered a bottle of Vitamin B supplement in my kitchen. It's got B-12 and other things in it, and it says that it's an "energy and metabolism booster." It's sublingual and it tastes awful, but I can get over that if it works.

Does anyone else take vitamins or supplements for metabolism? Do they work? I never have much energy for some reason, and I'd like to do what I can to boost it up naturally.

I recommend checking with your physician...you can actually overdose on some B vitamins...my doctor checked my vitamin B levels and actually had me stop on of my B vitamins (though it was several years ago and I can remember which one). Too much of a good thing isn't always good!

B-12 can help if you're a low energy person. However you should have your levels checked before supplementing. I'm personally anemic when it comes to B-12. I can't get it from my food at all. My doctor has me on injections.
