Was wondering if any of you have a reward system set up for yourself when you hit specific goals. If so what are they just curious.

When I hit my half way mark I am putting extensions in my hair.
When I hit my goal I am going to get piercings, another tattoo ( < these two I get for free since I am a shop apprentice :smokin: )
and go on a thrift store shopping spree. :)

Good idea -- we're planning a cruise for fall (which should be when I hit my goal weight). I am going to put some other rewards in the middle, I'll have to think about what they should be. Of course, I'll also need to buy new clothes when I hit my goal weight, so that'll be a big reward.

When I hit my long term goal I'm getting another tattoo. Probably a Chinese symbol for love.. I haven't figure out the rest but I know a clothing shopping spree will be in there..
  • When I achieve my goal, I'm going to get my belly button pierced. I've always expressed how trashy it was, but secretly, when I have the body to show it off, i'm going to get it done.

A reward might be helpful for those first few weeks/pounds, but losing is the reward for me! However, of necessity, you'll need a shopping spree because your clothes will be falling off!

I have this on my shoulder blade!! I love it! <3
  • What's a bigger reward than achieving what you've desired for the longest?
    On a side note...

I'm planning on going back to my home country Turkey, for the summer when I hit half mark. :)

When I hit full mark, I'm also going on a spree at a thrift shop :))

I got my hair cut short when I met halfway. Always try and do non-food goals. My ultimate goal is to go buy some nice jeans

I'm rewarding myself with a sexy pair of shoes that wouldn't make sense to wear if I didn't have insanely amazing legs lol!

I'll also update my wardrobe a whole bunch.

My initial reward system was based on two goals - running for a year and reaching my goal weight. Those things should happen around the same time and the prize is a week long trip to Hawaii probably at Christmas. I added a six month reward which was a new lens for my camera. I guess you could say I've gotten myself mini rewards along the way in the form of new fitness clothes -love anything in purple!

I'll be buying a new wardrobe and getting the tattoos that I've had drawn but didn't want to put on my chubby self. also looking at a breast reduction if they do not become a reasonable size.

I have a reward for every 10 lbs. They are all listed in my blog :) I have seven total (10 lbs each up to 60 lbs and then my goal)
  • Nice, of course the ultimate reward is the weight loss but doing those things to help boost you a bit more helps along the way. Can't wait for that day to get here. Only thing I fear is plateauing . :/

Don't fear plateaus. They will happen. The more you are trying to lose, the more of them you might hit.
That number is only part of the process.

If you are doing what you need to do, then even when the number doesn't move you are improving your life.
