I'm really not sure where to look this up or even who to talk to so I'm hoping for a few helpful NOT rude responses here....

I went to the doctor last month thinking that after 9 months of working out and eating healthy, there definitely has to be something wrong with me for me to only have lost 7lbs. I work out at least 5 days a week, I'm eating healthy foods but I seem to be losing at a much slower pace than even 1-2lbs per month. The doctor sent me for blood work and come to find out I have low levels of progestorone, testostorone, and I have pretty low thyroid levels. So the doctor prescribed me 1 cc of test (which I have to take once every 3 weeks until we recheck my blood) , some progest pills and some thyroid meds (both I have to take every day). In the last month I have lost more weight and I feel better and am a ton more energized, BUT I'm 12 days late on my period! Could all of these hormones be affecting my cycle???

PS - I am about 98.9% sure that I'm not pregnant.

The hormones Def could mess with your cycle. Since you did not say you were 100% sure you aren't pregnant, you could take a test to eliminate that possibility. Since this regimen is new, would discuss with your md so they have all info as they continue to monitor your results and the effects of the meds.

Progesterone is the hormone they use for birth control pills, isn't it?

I think it's a mix between progesterone and estrogen? But to be honest, I have NO real idea...
