Hi new to the message boards please can someone explain why the word bump is used - thanks:smile:

    It can be used for 2 reasons

    1. to save a topic thread. When you reply to a topic, it goes into your My Topics. A lot of people will bump recipes in the recipe thread so it goes into their My Topics and they can have it for later.

    2. If you wrote a post and no one responded, a reply to that post would *bump* it to the top. People might bump their own post or someone else's post so that more poeple see it.
