working midnights!

I work the midnight shift at the local hospital, and I was wondering how to keep myself from eating during the late night/early morning. What are ways to keep in shape while working night shift?

    i work the 3p-3a shift in the ER i also worked the floors. the hospital that i'm at now is doing a walking works challenge thru bcbs that tracks your steps thru the day. you can prob. see if you can sign up on your own or walk you own laps in your dept. when you have your downtime. just keep a journal of your mins./steps and chart it. it helps to stay away from the station where all the snacks are sitting out!! good luck! oh flavored water and flavored gum can also help..
