Any thoughts on mini steppers?

I've recently read several interwebz articles proclaiming the joys of mine steppers, including proposing keeping one under your desk at work. Does anyone do this? Is it helpful?

Bump! I just saw these online for the first time a few days ago, and I'm curious as to what people have to say. I can't fit a treadmill or exercise bike in my home, but the mini steppers or mini ellipticals look interesting.
