Weekends I can handle, no problemo. I work during those, so it's kind of distracting.
Mondays, though. UGH. I cannot control myself after the first day back at school. So many comfort cravings.0 -
You have to allow yourself treats & sweets sometimes. Cutting it all out completely increases the risk of binging, especially over the weekend when schedules are more relaxed. If you suffer from a bit of a sweet tooth try snacking on bananas, strawberries and low fat yoghurts. Remember you can have a bar of chocolate or a bag of crisps, just keep it all in moderation and don't push yourself too hard. There are too many people out there that punish themselves too hard when they're doing really well. The fact that you're here is enough proof that you want to better yourself so don't feel guilty about indulging in the odd snack over the weekend and if you are worried, go for a quick jog (on spot or outside, whichever is best for you) and work off the extra calories you've consumed.
If I ever feel like I want to indulge, I've started running on spot or thinking about my friends on here. I want to encourage them and set a good example and I want to not only make myself proud, but them to. xo0 -
My other half works in the motorsport industry so is away a HELL of a lot and so i have my girls over say 1 in every 3 weekeneds and on this weekend i literally do nothing but sit and watch movies and have a laugh. No exercise! But i still eat semi-healthily. I reaaaallllyyyy have to make up for my laziness the following week though! :yawn:0

I have a more difficult time on the weekends because I usually end up pulling "Auntie duty" on the weekends. When I have the kids, I usually end up buying treats for them, but, of course, I can't keep my own paws off the junk. Also, with children in the picture, it's more difficult to take the time to exercise, as well.0
