Well,

Naturally the first is myfitnesspal so I know exactly where I am each day. Brilliant. The reason this 'wins' over others for me is the barcode scanner, UK foods, and 'always with me' iPhone app... now only if it could integrate into my other 3 fitness gadgets.... :

1) Garmin Forerunner 305 - Brilliant bit of kit I've had for around 3-4 years. Tracks everything a runner will need and allows you to upload 'trace maps' which I'm always able to follow when running in a new place. Used it strapped to the handlebars of my bike for a good while. Even picks up from the cadence/speed sensor there! Can track indoor runs with a footpad.

2) Garmin Edge 805 - Bought this on a bit of a whim and naturally prefer it for cycling. Great for information display while on the bike (although actually logs the same data as 305 unless you have a power meter). Navigation is also better on the road via the integrated maps. Use OpenStreetMaps and you're in off road heaven!

3) Withings wifi scale. This thing is so simple but brilliant. It keeps you 'honest' with your progress. Often on diets I find myself struggling o remember day on day weights, body fat, what I started at, where was I 2 years ago, if I want to get back to my weight of summer 2009 what was that etc etc! Recent purchase over the past week but going to get daily use.

What I'm thinking of buying next:
4) Withings blood pressure monitor - Just seems sensible to keep track of this while upping the training load.

5) Zeo mobile sleep monitor - again I'm just interested if I can spot 'over-training' symptoms through monitoring my vitals each day.

What about everyone else, what gadgets do you use?

So far, besides MFP, I have a Polar F7 HRM, a great gadget for tracking your burnt calories during fitness sessions. I also use my kindle for reading on the fitness bike on the days I'm lazy, but don't want to sit on the couch.

Now what I would love to have as well would be an mp3 player with catchy music, it would take some of the boredom I get into on the elliptical. And a bodybugg/fitbit equivalent to see how much I burn on a daily basis.

I've not seen too many reviews but in theory the Motoavtv by Motorolla could be perfect? It does everything my 305 does however it's got proper built in maps (google maos/openstreetmaps) and can also change the music depending on your heart rate zone (so naturally an MP3 player as well).

Could be a rubbish gimmick but the previews look promising! I can't justify it tho given what I have already.
