LAST FEW POUNDS!! plateau.... :( and exercise... suggestions

I am intending to lose 21-22lbs, this will take me to around 9-91/2 stone which is about right for my height. I am fairly fit in a weight training way (from years of horse riding/mucking out and sports) and my cardio isn't bad but I really don't enjoy running type exercise (I prefer to exercise in a way I don't realise i.e. walking the dogs and dealing with my horse on a daily basis, also I get shin splints very easily!)
I have lost a stone in my first month relatively easily - one the whole I think my diet is ok but I have taken a few shortcuts with microwave meals and weight watchers soups etc.
I have, however, now come to a bit of a plateau - I do a fair amount of 'activity' in a day and I don't want to bulk up my muscle anymore, but i DO want to lose the last few pounds so I have more muscle definition - but the last half a stone seems to be stuck on me?....
I am trying to drink more water (I must admit I haven't been recording water intake on here) but does anyone have any suggestions of how to lose the last few pounds (especially the top of my thighs!)
i would be VERY GRATEFUL!!!
