I've joined a group on here but would be really good to catch up with people that have been on it or are about to start it!

I did Diet Chef for 3 months last year (that's where I heard about MFP). I think it's the best thing going and wish I could have afforded to carry it on.
But if like me you finish after your introductory offer, you'll have a much beter appreciation of portion size - including how MUCH you can actually eat! This should set you up for making up your own version which will be about 1/3 the cost!
The trick with the food is 1. always have soup for lunch - the shakes just aren't worth it! 2. just don't order anything you don't like the ingredients of - there was very little i didn't like.

i also did this for a month or two last year. i managed to lose 10lb but couldnt afford to do it and life kind of got in the way!
excellent plan though, really changed the way i think about portion sizes ect!0 -
I'm finding it a great option for easy calorie controlled meals. I add 250ml skimmed milk, 2 or 3 portions of fruit and 3-5 portions of veg per day plus sometimes ryvita cracker bread with the soups.
It is more expensive than making your own meals, but really good to get you into thinking about what will work, what portion sizes and variety of tastes. Good luck with it.0 -

i'm feeling a little peckish now but I haven't got another bit of fruit...trying to stay focused!0
