Hi, I'm educating myself to prepare healthier food for my family. We have a 6 and 12 year old children and mostly eat meals at home or pack. I have managed to prepare all clean food for the last 10 days, but I'm finding myself stumped with lunches. The six year old is easier to please as he doesn't like sandwiches or pizza.....

We are also looking at finding economical sources for grass feed beef and foul as well as farm fresh dairy.

Thanks in advance for any thoughts.

Wow! Thank you everyone. Printing out my menu for the week with an attached grocery list. Getting them involved in all aspects.

Off to find more "real" food.

How about using eggs? A pack of organic free-range eggs should be quite a bit less than beef or chicken.

Thank you! We have lap top lunch boxes. Love them. My older daughter wants something more grown up. I'll check out Bento. I'm trying to really reduce bread for both of them.

    Thank you again.

We love eggs. Use them a lot. Found a great store for farm fresh. Yumm!
