Eating habits...

I was never a snacker. I've always been the person who was too busy for food and skipped breakfast except for a cup of coffee, and probably skipped lunch too. So afternoon would roll around and by 4:30pm I would be starving....so I would binge eat until practically bed time.

I mention this because I never realized before that I did this....until I just thought about what and when I ate today as I was entering my meals in my food diary. MFP is doing more than helping me lose weight (as so many other wonderful people on here have pointed out)...it's helping be a healthier person overall, too! I never leave the house without a piece of fruit or two in my purse...I always have breakfast before I leave, I snack throughout work and classes, including a little something extra around lunch, and then I'm not hungry for dinner until around 7pm, which has helped me seriously cut back on my late night grubbing!

I've never felt better. I've noticed my energy levels going through the roof! Today I went on the stationary bike at the gym, my favorite cardio because I can read my homework while I do it...and I finished reading an entire play without getting tired! Sweaty, yes, but not tired. It used to be that 20 minutes on the bike exhausted me, now I can go 40 without realizing how long it's been.

I'm so glad I found this site. It is wonderful, the people are wonderful, and I feel like my future looks better than it ever has, because I KNOW I can keep up this lifestyle.

Thanks for being amazing, everyone!
