Hey lovelies! So with all the anti-crossfit stuffs on the boards, I thought we could use some positivity. I don't personally do crossfit, but I so admire those who do. Would you bada** folks post pictures of what crossfit has done for your physique?

Thanks for the topic, I don't exactly have before or after/in-progress so far (other than profile pictures)...I'll have to see if I can find something. Just wanted to make sure I included myself in the thread0

I started crossfit in August of 2011. I weighed 150lbs. Prior to this I had spent my year running half and full marathons and couldn't get past where I was fitness wise. I initially went to crossfit three days a week through October. Starting in November, I upped to five days a week (sheerly for the fun of it!) I made NO changes in my diet from August-October. In November I decided to go paleo and took 3-4 weeks to slowly transition into the change.
August, September, November, December
I actually weigh 150lbs in the first three photos. In the final photo I weigh 145lbs. This is what I weigh today. I'm probably eating around 2500 calories a day if I had to guess (I don't count, but from my intense calorie counting in 2007 I'm relatively good at estimating). Even once I started paying attention to nutrition, I never concerned myself with eating at a deficit. I simply ate when hungry and stopped when full, focusing on first filling up and meat and veggies, and then fruits and nuts/oils. I am also a former binge eater (I'm talking 5000 calories a day).0 -
You look amazing. It's really crazy how a few pounds loss and a boatload of muscle gain do for your body. Also, congratulations on overcoming binging.0
