Can a person be partially lactose intolerant?

I can have milk with my cereal or eat some cheese, and I'm fine. Ice cream, no problem. But if I eat yogurt of any kind, my stomach hurts for hours. I'm not sure if it's an intolerance issue or something else. Maybe I should elminate yogurt from my diet, which is a shame because I like it. Greek yogurt is the worst, by far. Fifteen minutes after eating it and I can barely move!
Are there any low-lactose yogurts? I don't think I've ever seen any but I'd be willing to try them.

I don't know about low lactose yogurts, but my husband is, for the most part, lactose intolerant. He can eat some cheeses, and Dannon Activia yogurt, but as far as milk or cream sauces, he can't have any. He has also noticed, since losing weight, he has been able to process more dairy. So, I do think it is possible to be partially lactose intolerant.0

My husband and son are both partially lactose-intolerant, but neither of them are bothered by yogurt. They can have yogurt and small amounts of cheese, a little bit of ice cream, things like that, but a plain glass of milk or too much cheese or ice cream will give them problems.0

Yogurt is generally fairly lower in lactose than milk, Greek yougurt doubly so. Your problem may not be with lactose intolerance. A doctor and perform tests to identify lactose intolerance and other issues.0
