Hi, I use Clarins. It is really kind to sensitive skin and feels lovely on.0

I make my own face wash, after years of battling acne and trying almost all prodiucts to get rid of it. I mix 75 percent oil (i do half grapeseed and half frist press olive oil) and i use 25 percent castor oil......

In the morning, i use an apricot scrub to remove the old skin cells from overnight....as of right now I am blemish free, but its not TOM for me
As for makeup.....I use mac. Now that i have a face wash that actually removes ALL the makeup, it doesn't break me out at all. For mascara i use the falsies kind, which i LOVE0 -

Thanks for the tips. Your skin is FAB too BTW!!0 -
I still have acne prone skin so I use Proactiv twice a week and Philosophy's Purity every day with the help of my Clairsonic. It was the best $100 I ever spent... my face NEVER breaks out now and it feels like velvet!0

My skin looks a lot better since I started eating healthier and drinking lots of water. But I find that age has kind of thinned it out and I don't really like the looks of it. I've never been too big into cosmetics, but I want to improve the look of my skin. Acne isn't too much of a problem because I exfoliate (not in the winter). I use a toner for my pores. I'm just looking to improve the surface.
I was thinking about the Dead Sea products, but I know they are expensive. Has anyone used those? Are they worth the money?0 -
Philosophy's Purity is amaaaazzzing. My mom uses it, it's wonderful for ALL skin types.

I haven't heard of the Dead Sea products...0 -
I'll check that out. Sephora is sold under JCPenney and I boycott that company, but I think you can buy Sephora directly online.0

i still have acne ;_; but i use Shiseido white lucent...i realized using a serum is kinda necessary ;_;
also different oils such as grapeseed/olive/castor etc.
also use retin a cream
right now i am using something from daiso (1 dollar store) and hoping it will work so i can save money |
my skin was at its best when i used the expensive white lucent products/daily face masks...so much work and money though =/0 -
Protein is awesome for the complexion. Just sayin'.0

Ooo my favorite thread so far!
Peter Thomas Roth face wash - it clears up acne while erasing fine lines
Clarisonic Mia - If you don't have one, I suggest buying one as soon as possible. It is like having a facial everyday.
Cetaphil SPF face lotion - I like it for everyday use, simple and good for the everyday
Boscia Night Cream - perfect for post shower winter dry skin revival
I really want to try the Brazilian home face peels, but that will be more towards summer.0 -
I have yet to find anything that doesn't bother my dermatitis
...including protein Binary :blushing:0 -

Cetaphil as a face wash.
Nivea light day cream for under foundation.
Neostrata anti aging cream, I mainly use this at night.
I heard argan oil is really good for the skin but i havnt had time to pick any up to try it.0 -

I'm telling you, try the oil cleansing method....its so cheap compared to how much you can spend on products that just don't work. And you can add it what you like, i added avocado oil and grapeseed along with mine, and my skin hasn't looked this clear in such a long time.0 -

Thats an urban legand guys made up so we would be adventurous in our "skin care regime"0 -

I worked in a spa for a while so I used the spa stuff. Dermalogica brand. It's pretty good. I'm apparently supposed to use the line for aging skin cuz I'm over 40. Well damn. I'm immature. Can I still use the other stuff? Doesn't that count? :P0

I love the motion medica line. I went all botanical with no chemicals and i've been getting compliments on my skin. I used to battle acne from all the sweat from working out but their 2 in 1 exfoliating cleanser with organic rosehips is the BEST and luv the stellar performance post workout cleanser.
I wasted a lot of money in the past on skin care products but this stuff does what it says. Lots of fitness models use it their comments and skin care regimen is on the website. (www.motionmedica.com)
Also lots of water, flax seed oil and a clean diet helps a lot.0 -
i absolutely love body shop coconut butter for my body smells divine0

Since switching to Bare Minerals makeup and L'Oreal Go 360 Deep Cream Cleanser my breakouts are down to practically nothing. I also don't tan and wear a lot of moisturizer.0

My dermatologist recommends CeraVe products, which can be found at CVS or Wal-Mart!0

i also use Philosophy's Purity Made Simple. i LOVE it and will never use another face wash. i also have a clarisonic, but i'm not real diligent about using it. luckily, i have good skin so that hasn't been an issue. i also use hope in a jar as my moisturizer at night. and always 100 SPF sunblock in the mornings!0

I have really sensitive skin and break out really easy...what I found works for me is;
Cetaphil sensitive skin (face wash - at night only)
Oil of Olay Sensitive Skin (lotion, morning, night and after a work out)
Lacome eye makeup remover - it's the only kind i found that takes off waterproof mascara, but it's pricey!
Sun Screen (a tiny tiny bit in my lotion)
Both my mom and grandma follow this same regimen and look WAY younger. At least once every couple weeks my mom (who is 27 yrs older then me) is mistaken for my sister.
For body lotion I just like the vaseline cocoa butter. I find it's not too greasy!
In the morning I only rinse my face and put on lotion. It's probably a bad habit but if I wash it twice a day I break out!0 -

HOLY COW! You're over 40? I totally thought you were mid 20's from your profile pic!0
