PROOOOOOTEEEEEEEIN. and a good amount of dietary fats, too.
I've seen this question many times on these boards. Usually, after looking at their food diary, the number one source of calories in their diet is carbohydrates.
Bump !
From what I read in low carb diets hunger pangs are normal. But if you increase your fat intake to 1 or 2 fat cal per carb cal then hunger pangs should recede... Works for me, give it a try 8)
Found the reference : the book is called "feed your brain" and It's one of the men's health books that is light on content ... But the one interesting point is the one on fat/carb ratio to avoid hunger pangs.
My personal best days my cals are 40% proteins, 40% fats and 20% carb max...
Almost no hunger.
Problem is that to get 150g proteins a day I would have to eat a large chicken at every meal, so I complement with whey/casein proteins.0 -
Sounds like I definitely need to change my diet....
I guess that the fact that I don't have weight problems helped me start eating whatever is near
I like dairy, so there's my source of fat and proteins, but I'll try eggs and more meat.
Thank you guys!0
