My healthy vow.

I vow, to never allow myself to feel less of a person for the way I look, or the number on the scale. I vow to love myself through this transition, through this learning of a new way of life. I vow to work hard at every workout and, and to remind myself of where and who I want to be. I vow to start living my life now, this very moment at the 178lbs that I am. I vow to not hold off on adventures because I am fat. Do you know why? Because I deserve a better life. I deserve total and complete happiness. And I deserve every drop of sweat and every ache in my body. I will endure and feel the pain. Because that will make me stronger. I will push and give more and more, even passed the limit where I think I can't. I will prove to myself, to that voice in my head that tells me 'give up, because you will never make it," I will prove to that voice that I can, I will and I am.

I have come this far, only by the constant reminder of the hurt, the insecurities. That pain will be my strength. Those horrid pictures of myself will be my motivation. I will be healthy, I will be smart about what I put in my body, and I will succeed. Now, and forever, this is my life. I will consciously know how much I eat. I will not let myself go back to my terrible eating habits, which at one point convinced me I was a food addict. I am standing up for myself. And I am proving that It can be done. I can take control of my life. I can be a success story and an inspiration. I can and I will. Now time to work out! :)

Oh my gosh! You are so right! I love this song, I've heard it a few times, and just yesterday I found out what the song was! Now that you mentioned this I just looked it up on youtube and I love it even more! Thanks so much! :)
