Sugarless Strawberry Pie

My family, the neighbors, and relatives love these. Simple:
1 box of strawberry jello
1/2 cup to 1 cup sugar substitute (your experience with Splenda etc.)
1 1/2 cups of water
3 tbs cornstarch
1 qt. chopped fresh strawberries
2 medium sugarless pie crusts
8 oz. sugars whipped topping
Bake pie crusts
Blend jello, sugar, water, and cornstarch and heat until thickened.
Divide strawberries between pie shells and pour jello mixture over each.
Cool and cover with whipped topping and garnish with strawberries.

How do you do the jello? Soft set, firm, or just the mix?
also, "sugars whipped topping"...sugarfree whip cream? I'm not sure what you mean haha.
"Heat until thickened" microwave? Stove? More information please0 -
In a hurry, can you tell. Sugarless jello ... mix till thick but pourable. I have always used the stove.0
