Just joined a few days. I've done the weight-loss yo-yo for more than 10 years. I used to be a competitive swimmer (12 years of it) until I joined the military. I joined at 127lbs and within 2 years and a lot of laziness, I was 240. It's been 12 years since my peak weight of 240 and the lowest I've gotten down to was 200. I got so tired of people giving me a hard time about being overweight that I ran the Tokyo Marathon in 2010 to just shut people up about my weight (and they did when I completed it). I got back up to 220 lbs and haven't been below 200 since. I have always tried exercise and diets but have always failed. I am back again with a vengeance and am hoping to get it off and keep it off this time. With any luck, I'l do it this time.
