Confusing your metabolism...

As I was looking through my dietary log today, I noticed that I have MAJOR differences in my calorie intake some days. Is this OK? I've heard that weight loss can be successful if you "confuse your metabolism" by eating a noticeable difference in calories each day. I'm on a 1,200 calorie a day diet...will this work for me? I was just wondering, because if so I am going to change my calorie intake each day.

It's fine to do this. If you google "calorie cycling" you'll find lots of things on this. Or try "zig zag" diet. In fact, some people are strong believers in this.

But, you should never go below 1200. :flowerforyou:

Yeah I'd say it's fine as long as you don't go under 1200. And quite a few people think it's helpful.
  • Ohh, that sounds good i'll think i'll try that haha.
