it will not be healthy, sustainable weight loss. if you lose it that fast, you would most likely be eating up muscle mass, which is needed to help burn calories with our metabolism and you will most likely gain it all back afterwards.
besides, would you rather have $50 or be healthy? you can't put a price on health!0 -
Healthy ;D !!0

30 pounds in a month is doable, but totally unhealthy.
An ideal weight loss per week should be 5 pounds, which is highly achievable.
So don't do it, it's not sensible in the long run0 -
Don't do it. 1 pound per day is unhealthy weight loss. Your Dad should just give you 50 dollars WHEN you lose 30 pounds the healthy way.0

Tell your dad you'll lose 30 pounds in 6-12 months and keep them off. Or you can lose 30 pounds in 1 month in a dangerous manner and gain it back and more over the next 5 months. Which does he prefer?
Then start tracking what you eat, eat healthier, exercise more and get healthy.0 -
Thanks guys because i always compare myself with the BIGGEST LOSER SHOW how they actually lose more then 10 pounds a week0

yeah and i know people who have been in that show, and within a few months of being outa the house they have gained a lot back! You know why? Eating 1000 calories plus exercising the amount of time they do is unattainable. Plus you will get a lot of loose skin...
instead compare yourself with Excess Baggage!0 -
The people on The Biggest Loser are very obese people, well over the 265 that you weigh. The men usually have an additional 50 pounds or more. Weight loss when you are that big moves a little faster, especially the way they do it on that show. They are also being watched over by fitness and medical professionals. You do not have that luxury.0

I agree with the others that 30 pounds in 4 weeks isn't healthy, but don't get discouraged you can lose it, it will just take more time so that you can do it in a more healthy way and keep it off easier...maybe you can have dad change his "bet" that when you have lost 30 pounds say within a 6-9 months he would still give you the money...sounds like this was a motivator for you, but the goal has to be more reasonable and healthy. As for workouts, what do you like? running, walking, dancing, weights, etc. I lost 17 pounds over a four month period by logging my food here and staying between my daily goal cals and my maintenance cals. plus doing a zumba routine 5 days a week. Now I mix the zumba with 30 day shred...find what works for you and what you like, set small goals(weekly/monthly) this way you can feel better when you reach that goal...Good luck on your journey, you can do this, there are others on here who have shared their stories.0

Haha! I wasn't saying that. I just meant that they have people on hand to deal with situations where they would be in danger.0
