I haven't tried the Jillian dvd but I am on level II of the butt bible and I LOVE it. I've incorporated it into my workout plan by using it as 2 out of my 3 days of lower and upper body weight training. For my other weight workouts, I use P90X dvds. I run and swim for cardio.
Anyway, I've been following the recommendation of doing the workout twice per week and am now in my third week. I can already tell a big difference in my butt and the back of my legs. My (very large) butt is noticeably perkier and rounder.
I highly recommend the butt bible. Some people who have done it are very annoyed by Pauline Nordine's incessant and often somewhat incoherent rambling. I actually find it distracting and often hilarious. Some of her comments are so outlandish and borderline offensive (she REALLY hates yoga, for example, and compares her butt to a concentration camp, at one point) that all I can do is chuckle. You can always hit the mute button if she annoys you too much.0 -
thanks for the info. I watched a little bit of the butt bible on youtube. Yea, I can see where she might get on your nerves.
