30 day Shred (30DS) - How do you calculate calories burned?

Started the 30 Day Shred yesterday and was wondering about how you go about calculating the calories burned.

Primarily interested so that I can track calories burned and for potential exercise calories to eat back.

I know that it depends on male/female/weight/height/etc, so my stats to start:

Height 5ft 11"
Weight: 231lbs
Male

    Before I had my HRM I logged it as circuit training.

    most people here log it as circuit training- general.
    It is just an estimation though. Best thing to do is get a HRM with calorie counter to be 100% accurate.
    I log that I burn about 228 cals with level 1. I only eat back 1/2 of a my calories in a day so it does not matter to me that it is 100% accurate.
