Hey everyone, I have a quick question.... is there a maximum amount of calories you can eat in one meal before they are stored as fat? I'm eating small meals through the day, but I'm wondering if my dinner is too big at 600 calories (about half of my calories before exercise). Any advice?

I dont know the answer to your question, but I can say that in 5 weeks I have lost 18 pounds, and my dinner meals (I eat my "dinner" around 330 in the afternoon) is usually half my daily calorie intake, and then the other half i spread out throughout the day. I tried to make it smaller and eat another meal or snack to make up for it, but I have found that if I dont have at least one moderately sized meal during the day I am never satisfied completely. I did, however, choose to make it earlier in the day so I have time to move around after and burn away some of it.

Experiment and get to know what your body likes.. it works for me, at least right now, but that isnt to say it will work for everyone.

Thanks to you both! I'm similar, I feel like I need to have at least one big meal, so I'm going to try to eat it a little earlier and do my nightly run after I eat instead of before.

I try to make breakfast or lunch my big meal of the day. I eat dinner pretty late so my energy needs at that time of day are pretty low.
