Hey all, I'm going to check out a zumba class tonight and I wanted to see how you guys logged it in your tracker? I left my HRM at home, so I can't use it!

when I log it on myfitnesspal, I put it under dancing, aerobics, but you need to adjust the minutes so that the calories line up with what you burned at zumba. Wish they had just a zumba thing to check under activities/workouts

I put in some zumba calorie counts into the database the other day(low, medium, and high intensity), but they were for my weight (270) so if someone were to weigh more/less the count will change.

You can just add your own exercise of Zumba in. Then it is there whenever you want to log it.

I used Zumbacalories.com before I got my HRM. It told me that I burned 600 for low intensity. I'd say I'm really at medium intensity and my HRM says I burn between 500 and 550 calories for the hour. I'd go with low intensity since I'd rather underestimate calories burned than overestimate.
