Feeling Down

When you know you haven't been at it very long, but you feel like giving in. Not the calories, but just giving up. When I look in the mirror I think "I can't change this"....then I reflect on a time when I wasn't so big and how happy I actually was because I FELT GOOD. So I get on my food tracker and punch in the scrabbled eggs with ketchup I let myself have this morning, with coffee and toast with cream cheese instead of butter. I hit complete entry and it tells me how much weight I "could" loose if I keep eating like this until.....
and honestly? Sometimes that's depressing to see because you feel like what you were doing this whole week was just to let you know of what 'could be'.

I want to keep going, I just feel like the exercise, the everything...is beating down on my body. I was consuming over 2300 calories a day obviously to maintain my weight. Now with a goal of weighing 180 pounds I've cut back to extreme to be (if I compared)...but I still feel like I"m getting enough to eat, and my abs are aching which shows me that this is actually working.

So with a quick prayer and a moment of meditation I'm going to finish out the rest of the day, and a word to all those who just feel like giving up-don't forget how far you've come.
