what store can you buy a heart rate monitor? And how do you use it to count calories?

Walmart. I saw one and want to buy it.......do they really work and are they worth $400

You can buy them at sports stores, online, walmart. You just have to be sure that the one you buy actually calculates calories burned. Some only tell you what your heart rate is. I have a garmin FR60, purchased from amazon. I use it for all of my workouts and it tells me how many calories I have burned as well as other info. It is a chest strap HRM and from what I understand from others, those are more accurate.0
