Ive decided I need to focus on strength training. I did Supreme 90 day last summer but I would like to do something different. I tried CLE but didn't like it.

I prefer something I can do at home with hand weights. Ive tried a few DVDs but I felt they moved do fast I wasn't really getting a quality workout.

Should I look into/read New Rules if Lifting for ladies? Will this educate me and set me up with a program?

Or does anyone else have a suggestion??

I highly suggest that book and also joining a gym. If you want to focus on strength training you should join somewhere with a great selection of weights and machines to use.

NROL is a great book and while the gym would give you the best equipment you can do this at home. I have a little weight room set up in my garage and most of my equipment is used from Craigslist. I do have to modify a couple of things but most of it is doable as stated in the book. You might want to get a training session though just to make sure you know how to do the exercises properly as form is very important. There is another book called "The Men's Health Home Workout Bible" also by Lou Cosgrove that has great ways to modify almost everything for the equipment you have at home. I checked it out at the library and bought NROL4women.

I'm doing it and I love it. It's a really great, not scary way to get into using free weights. I'm glad I tried it!
