Logging your foods

As its such a pain to alter your recipes in MFP (when you use more or less ingredients you can only delete them and reenter the adjusted amount instead of being able to click on the item and adjust) I have decided I will just take an average of the recipes I have entered and use this each day as quick added calories for my dinner.
My vegetarian recipes usually contain a lot of separate items and it takes a long time to search and enter each one.
I have entered 11 recipes and it comes to an average of 217 cals ( I will log 250 cals for my main meal)
If I have rice or pasta will enter that separately.
This is going to be much easier and faster for me and I believe I have a good understanding of what I eat now.
Not being able to alter the recipes has been my biggest issue with MFP and now I feel happy that I have found a solution that will work for me.
