Doing harm eating under cal goal?

Hey.
My limit is 1200 cals per day - at the moment I'm eating about 900 of those per day. I'm perfectly fine, in fact I'm often full, and I am eating healthily. The only thing I wondered about is that when I complete my entry, there is a warning saying I may be putting my body into starvation mode which makes weight loss more difficult. Should I just make myself eat 1200 anyway, even if I'm finding it a struggle?
I'm 5"4, 9st4 and trying to get back to my pre-uni weight of around 8st.

Try 1000 for 3 days then try 1200 for 2 weeks, this way your body quick starts with the 1000 and when you go up on 1200 it should stop your body from going into starvation mode.
