I boil them then I bbq them, I know they are not good, but are they horrible for a diet?

Not terrible at all.
It's what you put on em that'll really make or break the dish. (most sauces are way sugary and high-cal)
Boiling em/grilling gets rid of most of the fat, that's quite a lot of calories eliminated (9cal per gram)
Regardless, there's way worse things you could be eating.0 -
So the million dollar question - what do you put on them?
I have changed to a dry rub - then smoke them for a few hours.
But I will admin - I miss a wet mop on the ribs.0
