Are you supposed to eat what your BMR is?

My BMR is 1,415. I have my calorie consumption set to 1200 to lose 2lbs per week; am I supposed to eat what my BMR is or the 1,200 that I have set?

Depends on what you're trying to do. I'm starting to eat my BMR for my goal weight, to lose weight. I don't care how much I lose each week, just that my weight goes down.0
