It's cool if my bro calls me bro because we have a bromance.

I can't stand being called babe. SO ANNOYING! Or chicka. Or honey. So stupid lol.

I'm very guilty of saying babe......I guess I need to work on not saying it. But when I say it, I don't say it douchebaggy....it's more like being sweet. I'll work on it babe.

I can withstand the occasional "bro" term being slung at me. If I hear it more than once in a short amount of time by the same person I mentally vomit though.

Both of my kids (16 and 11) and all their friends call me "dude"! I'm a 50 year old woman, so I figure "dude" means they think I'm cooler than the average 50-year old woman. So I'll take "dude" any day, lol!

    this is full of awesomeness!!!
  • I HATE when people call me bro! I use to say it so much when I was younger as I picked it up from my friends and my dad immediately snapped at me  He'd always tell me, ladies don't say bro. Now I don't dare refer to anyone as bro. Chief is still the worst though lol

Don't seem to run into too many people older than me anymore. lol.

    Well here is one ROFLMAO!!!

I have never been bro'd LOL but call me honey or babe and when you regain consciousness we'll talk.

I do say "Sup" all the time but unitl 2 years ago had a house full of 20-25yo boys so I have heard every greeting. One friend of my DS who lived with us(family situation) for 6 years once said "Sup *****" by accident. I thought he was gonna cry, all I could do was ROFLMAO!!!
  • My first wife thought her nickname was "B*tch."

Back when I was a young fella, there was an older guy at work who called me "young fella." I liked that until I figured out he didn't know anybody's name and called all the guys "young fella."

I work with teenagers so Bro gets thrown my way quite a bit. They get one reminder that "Bro" is not listed on my drivers' license and the next time there are consequences.

Also, chief, Ace, slick, dude and dog are not ok as substiutes.

Do you get annoyed? Also do you find yourself saying hi politely to the older guys and then "what's up" to the younger ones?
Yuo mad bro. I see it as a sign of respect. Trust me they can call you a b*****.

I only drop bro on my close friends. I got to admit, I don't like it at all when someone says bro to me and they don't even know my name.

Sadly, i'm an ex tumblr addict. So "bro" kinda stuck with me. I say it to all by guy friends. Even my girl friends sometimes. I might have even said it to my mom

My 11-year old daughter has this thing with calling me "dude". It is getting better because she is tired of the 20-minute long lectures about calling me "dude" and not "mom"
