Changing my goals.

Hey everyone! Just curious... when I made it to 10 pounds lost MFP suggested I change my calorie goals. I was set at 1200 cals. for a 2 pound a week weight loss. I changed it to 1 pound a week which is what the site recommends but i'm afraid that changing from 1200 a day to 1400 a day will cause me to not lose. If that makes sense. Anybody changed their goals before? Thanks in advance!
