I'm starting ripped in 30 today and I was wondering if there were any recent success stories that any of you would be happy to share with me?

Thanks a lot :) Needing the support!

I've done levels 1 and 2, starting Level 3 tonight. In week 1 i had an initial gain which i think was mainly down to doing more strength exercise, just finished level 2 and the initial gain has come off with a few more pounds, i'm definitely starting to see changes even after 2 weeks, i am much stronger and my stomach definitely feels flatter and everything is taking shape nicely, can't wait to see my after pics in 2 more weeks!! :) x
  • Oh that is so good and I'm so glad that you have already seen results! :) I have completed the 30 day shred before this and I'm just looking to get more toned and to generally gain more muscle mass for my small frame so I'm so excited that you think that your 'gain' is muscle :)

    Well done and keep going!

I am in week three right now. I've lost about 1.5 pounds; I haven't measured inches yet and I won't until the end. I am doing this in conjunction with a 10k training program; I am not using Jillian's diet. I am eating in moderation following MFP Monday thru Friday with some cheating allowed on weekends to preserve my sanity. :)

I started the program because I felt myself getting stagnant in the weight room. I do find it challenging, but I also worry because I am certainly used to using heavier weights. I'll wait until the end of week four to give my final assessment -- hopefully it will have been worthwhile!

Once this is over I plan to complete the program in The New Rules of Lifting for Women.

I haven't really done it 30 days in a row but I did it every other day in November and December and here lately I've been doing levels 1 and 2 together a couple of times per week. I definitely think it's an effective workout. I lose about 5 lbs per month, and I'm always switching up my workouts. Exercise bike, Jillian, Tae Bo, rollerblading. I like variety. LOL :D
    Good luck!

Doing ripped in 30 over 8 weeks instead of 4 since I'm doing a C25K hybrid with it. I did the 30DS for the full month of January prior to this.

I am on my 2nd week of Level 2 (my weeks start/end on Wednesday due to Feb 1st being a Wed.)
Its a different animal than 30DS though they share some techniques. Having great success so far.
  • Awesome Chuckles! :) Well done with sticking with it and having great success! I was wondering since you are male, do you think that the 3DS and ripped in 30 are good programs for men as well as women? Trying to get my boyfriend started on something :)
