I love, love peanut butter and toast. I'm looking for a good, healthy (organic would be even better) brand. All the good taste without all the calories and sugar. Any suggestions?

It isn't peanut butter but I love Marantha natural almond butter. It is naturally a little sweeter than peanut butter, or I think it tastes that way at least. It is a little lower in saturated fats and it is actually a nut butter unlike peanut butter.

The all natural version of jiff is good...and it has the consistency of the not so healthy kind of peanut butter....granted it's not organic but it was my go-to for a while

Honestly, best peanutty taste ever is to just make your own. It takes no time in one of those little blender thingies and the intense flavour is unreal. :)

^^^^^ Homemade PB is amazing! I'm sure it's much easier with a food processor...I used a mortar and pestle (great workout for the arms but took FOREVER to get a good consistency)...the joys of living in a developing country :)

I use Almond Butter. Peanut butter is a very low grade of nuts and protein.

Go to a whole foods place that has a grinder and grind your own. Then you know exactly what's in it.

I use Naturally More brand for a protein snack with an apple or banana. It has Omega-3 and Flaxseed in it great supplements included. But for my PB sandwiches I prefer the texture of Jif Natural. I never thought of buying peanuts and making it myself have to look into that!

Just bought some PB2. It's a peanut powder that has all the oil squeezed out of it. Only 45 calories for 2 Tbs. Also has 5 grams of protein. Put some in a banana smoothie and it was really good tasting but a little grainy. Would love some good recipes for it!
