Hi Everyone I've had this profile for over 2 years now, completely forgot about it, now i'm updating it and seeking friendship and accountability partners. I've finally come to the realisation (this past week) that my relationship with food needs to change. I'm ALWAYS thinking about it. I also love baking, cooking, and have a terrible sweet tooth. I've jumped between 160 and 220 the past two years. I'm now 198 and horrible dissatisfied with myself. I know I can do this, and I know I have to, I just need some encouragement I guess.
I hope this post wasn't too random I'm excited to start befriending you guys and reading encouraging stories and working through our goals together!

Hello! I've also had a profile for quite a while and I've been on and off again about actually recording what I eat... although I am sticking to my new years resolution of eating and living healthier! I've been looking for encouragement partners also, so I'll send you a request.
I've actually gotten a few of my friends to join MFP, but they either have never logged or log only once every month or so. Which is actually more discouraging to see that in my news feed every day. I'm really looking to make this a lifestyle, so I'd love friends that are regular on MFP.
I don't have a scale so I use a measuring tape, I realized this morning that I've got at least 1 inch in every target place I've been working on! I'm so excited about that! I'm not trying to lose too many pounds (maybe about 5 - 10) but just really trying to lose the beer belly fat and tone up.
I agree, we deserve this! Everyone deserves to treat themselves better0 -
I'm in the same boat as both of you & you're right, we do deserve it. I'm doing this for me (for a change) but it is very difficult. I love to cook & bake too & my family loves to eat (& not healthy, but I'm trying to change that) Best of luck! I'm going to try to friend you both (it doesn't always work for me ;(0
