I was so happy today when I got on the scale and saw I had dropped a pound already!
This is my third day actually using the site, although I'd been at least monitoring what I ate for a few days before.
Just thought I'd share this with everyone. :]

Also, I'm having trouble trying to make myself exercise regularly.
It's mainly because I work almost every day, and I have no set schedule, so planning to work out on a certain day is out of the question.
Also, this is the first time I've ever tried to change my diet, and I'm scared of overdoing things and losing my motivation.

Anyone have an exercise tips?
Should I just start with cardio ever couple of days, and add strength training later?
How about getting yourself motivated to actually work out? lol
I appreciate the tips. :]]

My motivation is I don't want to be fat- Enough said- Nobody pushes me to workout- I just know its what has to be done- Trust me I know all about being busy and fitting workouts in my schedule but I manage to do it and yet I used to be the one that says I don't have time to hit the gym with everything else I have going on in my life such as kids fulltime job, kids activities, needy husband, errands, housework ect.. but it gets done every week and I workout 4-5 days a week.

But to answer your question fit in 30 minutes then build it up to an hour and don't forget to challenge yourself too --

    Kudo's for dropping a pound

My advice, as your first starting out, start with something you are going to stick to for the first three weeks. If you overdo it you can burn yourself out. Start slow, and remain steady. Then after the three weeks, start adding or changing up a big. That's what I found helped me to actually start loving to exercise. My two cents.

way to go, keep up the great work. :flowerforyou:
  • thanks for the tips.

I did some cardio last night and had enough calories left over to have a scoop of cookies and cream ice cream. :]
Maybe that will end up being my motivation, the treats I get afterward. Yum! :]
