Changing goals every 10 pounds?

When I weighed in this morning, I hit 10 pound loss (14) MFP asked if I wanted to recalculate my goals. I said no, then I got to wondering if I should.
I'm really new to this, should recalculate every 10 pounds or should I wait until I hit a plateau or aim more for 20 then recalculate?
Originally, I was thinking I would wait until I hit 20 pounds lost before changing it up. Now I'm rethinking.
What do you all do????
thanks,
Leslie

Personally I think it's less about how much you've lost so far, and more about how much more you want to lose.
For example, if you only want to lose 20 pounds, once you've lost 10, you're halfway there.
On the other hand, if you have a bit more to lose (it looks like you're aiming for 85lbs?), I wouldn't recalculate every 10 pounds. Maybe every 20?0 -
Thanks, that's kind of what I was thinking as well. I've got a LONG way to go!
Thanks for the reply, I appreciate it!0
